It was established in 2003 and since 2009 has been The Support Centre for the group of young persons with disabilities, graduate from schools, whom the state of health and a type of disability do not allow for further education or taking a job on so-called open market. The aim of the program is to provide comprehensive assistance to disabled persons in achieving self-reliance, which allows them entry into adult life.
The aid consists of various activities in the area:

social and professional activation
•
rehabilitation
•
individual consultations
•
self-presentation workshops
•
conducting support groups
•
conducting thematic activities: computer, plastic, relaxation, etc.
The participants have the opportunity to:
•
learning and practice of self-service while staying in a training apartment
•
becoming independent during the practical application of learned social skills
•
participation in vocational and self-defense courses, etc
•
working as volunteers in favor of the Centre for Rehabilitation, Education and Care of The Society of the Friends of Children "Helenow".
The team of instructors and therapists of The Support Centre is created by psychologists, educators, sociologist and physiotherapists supported by assistants and volunteers. They possess experience in working with people with disabilities and constantly improve their qualifications.
